The WinkBed Plus has an innerspring feel with some nice bounce. It’s easy to move around and switch positions, and sleepers shouldn’t feel stuck in this mattress.

Average-weight back and stomach sleepers will enjoy plenty of support on this mattress, although it’s possible that it might feel a bit too firm for back sleepers in this weight category. The cover is quilted with 2” of a high-density Body Impression Proof Foam, which offers some softness right off the bat. This creates a tufted Euro-top.
Support Layers
The primary support layer on the WinkBed Plus consists of 7.5” of a three-zone, TexasQUAD individually wrapped support coil system. That’s a mouthful, so here’s the main takeaway: These coils are highly supportive, breathable, and durable. They’re also zoned to be a bit firmer near the center of the mattress (for additional support). The mattress is also surrounded by a foam encasement; this shores up its edge support and expands the surface area of the mattress. Underneath the coils, there’s a high-density polyfoam layer that offers overall structure and support.

Sleeping Hot Or Cold
The WinkBed Plus does a great job of sleeping cool. That’s thanks to several design features, including the Tencel fabric in the cover, a gel infusion in the Euro pillow-top, and the individually-wrapped coils, which allow for plenty of airflow throughout the center of the mattress.
Motion Transfer
In spite of the WinkBed Plus’s cushion-y pillow-top, we still observed some motion transfer in our tests. Overall, we found that the WinkBed Plus does a decent but not great job of reducing movement transfer across the surface of the bed. Keep this in mind if you’re hunting for a mattress for couples.
Edge Support
As we noted above, the WinkBeds Plus is surrounded by a foam encasement that helps strengthen its edge support. Combined with the supportive coils, this feature creates great edge support overall. We felt secure while sitting and lying down near the edges of this bed.
Durability

The WinkBed Plus is made with CertiPUR-US certified foams, and the cover is OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 certified. This means the mattress is fairly eco-friendly and low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs), so it shouldn’t produce noxious off-gassing.
Noise
At the time of our review, we didn’t observe any notable noise from this mattress. That said, because it contains coils, it’s possible they could start to squeak a bit over time.
